GKR HOLDING joint-stock company was established in the year 1998 during restructuring /from a part/ of company RAK GKR Praha s.r.o. Hereby fundamental changes occurred regarding fulfillment of the company's main aim – good-quality and responsible exercising of proprietary rights and preparation for establishment of effective holding structure within GKR HOLDING joint-stock company.

GKR HOLDING a.s. represents the management company for the whole group of companies that run business in a number of sectors such as engineering, construction industry, activities concerning mining, groundworks and freight transport, sale of goods, real estate, rental of non-residential premises etc. The company is structured on the basis of a holding structure. The choice of holding structure provides management of the parent company with possibility of effective management with appropriate decision-making and controlling mechanisms within the whole GKR Group.
